Garcia, born in 1951, is a painter from the Andalusian region of Spain. Garcia's entry into the arts began in classes taken in la Escuela de Bellas Artes. His paintings reflect the typical Andalusian countryside replete with olive trees, brilliant plains and wide expanses. Garcia 's stylized works are uniquely painted with combinations of lavendar, olive and rust resulting in an expression of the landscape that reflects his love for the mountains of rural Spain. Garcia has shown his work in group shows in Seville and various other cities in Andalusia. |
