Montero is Spanish artist born in Alicante. He began studying graphic design at the University of Valencia, later moving to Barcelona to finish his studies at the prestigious La Massana Art School. From his beginnings, he focused his artistic works on contemporary painting, experimenting with various pictorial techniques, giving great importance to the combination of colors, often within the same color range and taking into account the most avant-garde trends. In his search to find his own style, his last works are usually large paintings with nautical themes in a style close to impressionism. His paintings are made with fast and vibrant strokes, to give a sense of movement. He hardly uses basic drawing, applying color directly, generally elegant shades of gray and white, although he also uses bright colors and abstract details on occasion. A tireless traveler, he is always on the lookout for new trends, which is why his paintings fit perfectly with the new styles of interior design and decoration. He has carried out numerous works in collaboration with architects and decorators for avant-garde interior design projects. His paintings are mainly in private collections in Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, Norway, Sweden, England and the USA.. |
