Paolo Baldi's Biography

Paolo Baldi is an Italian artist born in Turin in 1964, where he continues to live and work today. From a very young age he shows a natural predisposition for drawing and painting, which prompts him as an adult to study fine arts at the prestigious European Academy of Florence, a city to which he moved during his student years and where he had the opportunity to enrich himself with the wonderful galleries and art exhibitions of the best classic and contemporary Italian artists.

Baldi describes his artistic process as a continuous search for beauty in all things and the constant need to improve his artistic techniques mainly using oil paints, but he also enjoys experimenting with acrylics, pastels and drawings.

The themes of his paintings are very varied, although at first his works were more scenic, generally of cities and typical Italian landscapes with pastel and soft colors, later he has evolved to more avant-garde techniques and styles.. painting still life and floral themes with vibrant colors.

His individual and group exhibitions began in 1989, enjoying continuous and flattering success from the public and art critics.

Baldi's works appear in numerous private collections in Italy, but also in countries throughout Europe, mainly in England, Germany, the Netherlands and Spain, among others.
