Joan Bonet Masia was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1965. He studied painting at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts San Carlos, in Valencia. Bonet delights in the open spaces of his beloved Spanish countryside; the glorious mountains, rolling hillsides and fields overflowing with flowers. He elevates the impasto painting technique to an almost 3-dimensional level. This combined with his vibrant color palette and bold brush work results in dramatic and dazzling works of art. His work can be seen in the art galleries in Europe and in numerous private collections. |
