Luciano Lauro was born in 1940 in Naples, Italy, where he still lives and works today. He graduated from the Art Institute of Naples and then attended the Academy of Art of Brera. Lauro's paintings reflect his classic training; his Venetian scenes capture the ambiance of this spectacular city. The texture of his canvasses enhances the architecture, the feel of the cobbled walkways, the aged wood of the gondolas. Lauro's works are modern and spontaneous, all the more interesting because in his works you can see the originality and sincerity of research and artistic fulfillment. Among Lauro's most recent exhibits: Napoli-Galleria Giambellino Roma-Galleria Ducevaliere Parigi-Centro Culturale D'Arte |
