Silvio Demone was born in Naples in 1948, and attended the prestigious Fine Arts Academy in Rome. After his training, Demone traveled to numerous cities throughout Italy and also visited Paris and Marseilles in France, where he had his work exhibited at various venues. Demone's paintings are impressionistic glimpses of the street life in Europe's prettiest cities. The crowded cafes, the imposing landmarks and the bustling plazas are in full display for us to enjoy. His animated brushwork, subtle colorations and keen perspective make Demone's art most appealing. Demone's works are found in important private and public collections.
