Born in the city of Tacna, Peru, Eugenio Cohaila is one of the most promising Peruvian artists. Only in his mid twenties, Eugenio has held more that 30 exhibitions, including shows at such prestigious salons as the Municipalidad de Tacna, the Embassy of the U.S., and the gallery at the Banco Continental. Eugenio studied at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de Tacna, where he graduated with the highest honors in painting. Additionally, he recently finished his post graduate studies in painting at the Escuela de Bellas Artes del Peru, in Lima. Eugenio's honors include first place at the Concurso de Murales Urbanos in Tacna, honorable mention at the Contest Quinto Lazo in Tacna, and honorable mention at the contest organized by Michel & Cia. |
