Flores's Biography

A. Flores, whose actual name is Adolfo Colque, was born into a family of artisans in Cuzco, Peru, in 1967. Coming from an artistic family, Flores was exposed to the art and culture at an early age. Flores studied painting at the famous Escuela Regional de Bellas Artes "Carlos Bacaflor" in Arequipa, and the Escuela Nacional Superior Autonoma de Bellas Artes de Lima, where he graduated with the Gold Medal Award.

Flores has an exceptional grasp of "depth of field" and this results in scenes with a powerful perspective.
