Born in 1945 in the U.S.S.R., Moshe Leider attended the Art Academy in the Soviet Union. In 1978, Leider immigrated to Israel and studied art at the Art College in Ramat-Hasharon. Leider uses water colors, acrylics and mixed media in most of his works. His paintings are peaceful and colorful idyllic scenes, oftentimes featuring fashionable ladies posing with parasols and adorned with large brimmed hats. For the past eleven years, Leider has been teaching art and displaying his art in various collections throughout the world, including Israel, Canada, France, Japan and the United States.
