Salut Carol was born in Palafrugell, Cataluna, Spain. She studied painting with well known Spanish artists Martinez and Isidre Vilaseca. But, Carol considers herself a self-taught artist in that she has spent many years developing her own natural style. Carol's art is beautiful expressions of composition, color and light. Focusing mainly on landscapes and still lifes, her works possess a great depth and enormous sense of tranquility and harmony. She achieves this by using colors and design in a captivating way, one that invites the viewer into her vision. Carol has had many one-women shows in Paragrugell, Tarragona, Barcelona and Madrid, et al.
