Ramon Solis was born in Sabadell, Spain in 1952. He studied in the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Works under the tutelage of various renowned teachers. In addition, he attended simultaneously a private school in Barcelona. In love with his native country, Solis sets up his easel in Spain's most scenic areas and transposes what he sees onto linen. The expansive fields of the countryside and exquisite water lilies studies dominate his work at the present time. |
