Michael Rozenvain's Biography

Michael Rozenvain was born in 1963 in Kiev in the Ukraine. He studied art in Kiev and subsequently attended the Lvov Academy of Applied Art. In 1990, Rozenvain emigrated to Israel and since then has participated in numerous international one-man shows and group exhibitions. At the same time, he has created monumental pieces in hotels and libraries.

Rozenvain's work engages the viewer at first sight. His compositions dance with a lightness, sensuality, and a variety of texture. From pale watercolored areas to bold accents of bright gold, there is a depth and vibrancy to his studies. His subject matter, too, makes his work very appealing; Mediterranean views, cafes, orchestras, and more, his canvasses come alive with music and dance.
