The artist known as "Fernandez" was born in 1938 in Valencia, Spain. He was trained at the School of Fine Arts in Valencia. Fernandez finished his studies in 1980, and moved to Mallorca where he developed and perfected his painting skills. Fernandez became an accomplished artist on the isle of Mallorca and began having exhibitions twice a year. This combined with a high demand for his work has elevated his status to a gifted and popular artist. Fernandez' art, primarily still lifes, is firmly footed in realism.
