Maria Serafina was born in Palermo, Italy, graduating from school with a Fine Arts degree. Serafina has had a long and active career, which includes many personal exhibitions, which have resulted in deserved critical acclaim. The Isle of Capri has had an exceptionally strong influence on Serafina. Her work strives to capture the flavor of the island's romantic gardens with their wistful play of light and shadow. These works, especially, have met with much success. Presently, Serafina paints in Capri and her work is found in the finest galleries. |
