Giuseppe Iannicelli was born in Naples, Italy in 1957, where he still lives and works. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. From his first year at the school, his artwork drew critical acclaim and attracted attention from Italian and foreign admirers. The brother of another famous artist, Antonio Ianniccelli, this artist is known especially for his "rustic scenes" and coastal views. Iannicelli paints in a neo-impressionistic style with short brushstrokes, rich colors, and pastoral compositions depicting the countryside, orchards and idyllic coastal regions.
