Anoushavan Hovakimian was bom in Yerevan, Armenia, in 1973. In 1995, he graduated from Yerevan Kh. Abovian Pedagogical Institute. After graduation, Hovakirnian traveled to France to study at the 8th University in Paris (St. Denis), arts plastic faculty in 1996/1997. His paintings are vivid and lyrical pieces that erupt with self- expression. His abstract figures dance across the canvas, while bathed in glorious blasts of color. A. Hovakimian is a talented artist whose works are found in private collection in France, England, Germany, Switzerland, the USA, and Russia.
