Enrique Cortes is a Valencian painter bom in Mislata, Spain, in 1955. Cortes studied at the Escuela de Bellas Artes in San Carlos, where he earned awards and was distinguished amongst his fellow students as a talented and promising artist. Cortes had his first one-man show in Exomo in the Valencia region and has participated in group exhibitions in various museums and galleries. Cortes primarily paints landscapes which display his sensitive and expressive brushwork, and he has made his mark in the artworld quickly. Beginning in 1985, he has shown an evolution toward more luminous and ambitious compositions. |
