Columbian born artist, Luis Alfonso Luna, received his Masters in Fine Arts from the National University of Columbia in 1986. Luna, a talented painter of primarily epic landscapes and seascapes, expresses the essence of his subjects with large canvasses and a unique painting style. Luna's brushwork and his ability to capture the essence of light and its reflections is reminiscent of the great impressionists. These are powerful works that tell a story in a very interesting way. Figures are cloaked in shadows, the waters are shimmering with light and atmosphere envelopes the subjects. Luis Alfonso Luna is an accomplished artist who has exhibited in many galleries.
